New awards for Barangaroo Reserve

Sydney’s extraordinary new six-hectare Harbour foreshore park, Barangaroo Reserve, has received national and international recognition.

At the Infrastructure Partnerships Australia’s (IPA) prestigious National Infrastructure Awards, Barangaroo Reserve was named Australia’s Project of the Year.

The park has also been awarded Architizer A+Award Jury Winner in the Landscape & Planning: Public Park category.

These prestigious awards are important recognition of best practice in infrastructure, architecture and design which has combined to create this landmark public domain for Sydney.

The IPA National Infrastructure awards celebrate and acknowledge the innovation and excellence of Australia’s public and private sectors in the delivery of infrastructure.

The Architizer A+Awards encourage meaningful architecture in the world and aim to champion its potential for a positive impact on everyday life.

Architizer’s jury of some 300 architects, designers, cultural thought leaders and developers chose Barangaroo Reserve from entries from 100 countries representing the best of architecture and design.
