A huge variety of food options will be on offer every evening during Vivid Sydney at Barangaroo (Friday 26 May – Saturday 17 June, 6pm – 11pm), ranging from grab-and-go ‘cheap eats’ for families up to an array of restaurants that make the curated food and retail precinct a foodies’ paradise.

Many of Barangaroo’s eateries will extend their trading hours during Vivid Sydney so you can choose from more than 30 restaurants, bars and cafes as you follow a discovery trail of light and art installations around the southern precinct.

The Canteen has extended its trading hours for Vivid. This indoor option is very popular with office workers at lunchtime for fast, quality refuelling. For the duration of Vivid The Canteen will extend their trading hours until 9pm (open Wednesday – Sunday, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).

A selection of Vivid Sydney-inspired food, drinks and activities will ensure everyone is well fed and entertained while exploring Barangaroo (south). And the kids can get into the spirit with electrifying neon glow-in-the-dark hair spray and face painting at blow dry and make-up bar, Blown Lux.

Devon Café goes psychedelic with Purple Haze sundae, an electric purple ube (purple yam) soft serve with leche flan and taro.

Oh! Boo Chocolates keeps the whole family happy with raspberry and cola chocolate bars, vibrant handmade chocolate lollipops for the kids and coconut with citrus zest and blue curaçao liqueur chocolates for the adults.

At Ume Burger, Kerby Craig creates a wicked Vivid Sydney Burger with signature house-made wagyu mince sauce, fries with umami salt, spicy special sauce, tomato, onion, beef patty and cheese.

Glowing cocktails are on the menu at Banksii’s Belvedere light bar and Untied’s winter-themed pop-up rooftop bar. Be sure to try the Basil Dazzle and Vivid Spritz.

The Rabbit Hole serves a Vivid Sydney butterfly pea flower tea that changes colour from blue to purple to pink with a squeeze of lemon.

Stop by Anason, Shirt Bar and Zushi for more Vivid Sydney-inspired cocktails during the festival.

DJs hit the decks as the sun sets at Untied’s weekly Vivid Sydney rooftop parties Thursdays from 4-9pm.

Walk under the twinkling lights of Wulugul Walk’s bustling waterfront and sample a variety of takeaway international cuisine including paella from, mezes from Anason and bao from Lotus.

The southern end of Barangaroo is best accessed from Wynyard Station via Wynyard Walk, or is a short stroll from King Street Wharf and the Darling Harbour ferry stop.
